Objective

Jockey Club Emergency Relief Fund (“JCERF”) provides immediate relief to victims of natural disasters, accidents and severe living circumstances, empowering individuals to navigate their most challenging moments with dignity and hope.

Categories of Assistance

Provide transitional assistance, including living, education and funeral expenses, etc, to individuals or families in need due to the following:

• Needs arising from crises or unexpected circumstances, e.g. incapacity of a breadwinner, sudden death of a family member.
• Being affected by natural disasters or large-scale emergencies and crises.

(Note: Cases that are not urgent by nature or cases seeking long-term assistance will not be considered.)

Application

• Applicant must be a Hong Kong resident
• Applications must be referred by registered social workers from the Government, non-governmental organisations or Hospital Authority.
• Referrer social worker may contact JCERF Secretariat for an initial case assessment or directly submit the application form for approval. Donation cheque for approved cases will be delivered to the applicant through the referrer organisation.
