The Club provides wagering services, via its subsidiaries, on horse racing and football. Most wagering on horse racing is pari-mutuel whilst football wagering is fixed odds. In response to public demand, and also to combat illegal operators, the Club regularly reviews and updates its wagering products and systems. Indeed it is considered a pioneer in its development and use of technology.
The Mark Six Lottery is a 6-out-of-49 lottery game with seven prize levels. Mark Six draws are normally held three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and either Saturday or Sunday.
The Mark Six also contributes directly to the community, both through duty to the HKSAR Government and through the Lotteries Fund. Since its establishment in 1976, the Mark Six has provided over HK$28 billion to the Lotteries Fund and supported more than 20,000 projects.
The Club provides a variety of wagering channels - at racecourses, through a network of 86 Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), including six Experience Shops, and through telephone, online and mobile services. All of these have strict access controls in line with the Club’s Responsible Gambling Policy..
