Striding on together - the HKJC and equestrian sport share the same spirit of partnership and commitment to excellence.
Ever since its foundation as a horse racing and riding club in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club has played a major role in the development of equestrian sports. A major landmark were the equestrian events of the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which were held in Hong Kong with Club support. Following their success, the Club assisted with the 2010 Asian Games equestrian events and as a legacy constructed Conghua Racecourse on the site.
Hong Kong currently hosts and packed schedule of shows and events from September to July. Participants range from grass roots introductory level up to FEI events, in Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country including CSI* and CCI* International Events.
