Racecourse Entertainment
The Club’s two racecourses at Sha Tin and Happy Valley are at the heart of Hong Kong’s racing and entertainment experience. From the 2025/26 season fans will also be able to enjoy racing at the Club’s newest racecourse at Conghua, Guangzhou.
Sha Tin Racecourse can accommodate more than 80,000 people and is where all of Hong Kong’s 12 Group 1 events are run. Happy Valley, in the heart of the city, is Hong Kong’s most popular mid-week entertainment venue, its Happy Wednesday race night parties drawing a vibrant and passionate crowd. Both racecourses have undergone a substantial HK$7.1 billion revitalisation, transforming them into centres of world-class hospitality and sporting entertainment.
Conghua Racecourse held its first exhibition raceday in March 2019. From the 2025/26 racing season it will host regular meetings run according to the Club’s rules and regulations. Fans will be accommodated in a new grandstand with a capacity of approximately 8,000 spectators. For more information see Racing Vision 2030.
