One of the objectives of the Jockey Club Youth Football Academy Summit is to give young footballers from different countries and backgrounds the chance to get to know each other better through participating in different activities. For our local footballers, this means enjoying the opportunity to learn Manchester United Academy’s professional training approach, which helps them to boost their technical skills and mental prowess.

The Summit also offers the young Manchester United squad the opportunity to experience Asian culture. This year, they learned about the story and culture of Hong Kong by visiting several local historical buildings and landmarks with local youth players.

In addition to football matches, several workshops and classes were also held. Through a variety of activities, the players, local coaches and school-team teachers enjoyed learning different skills and exchanging views, all of which helped them to put their best foot forward.
