In addition to providing unique football and cultural experiences for youth footballers from England, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, the Jockey Club Youth Football Academy Summit gives local people of different ages and backgrounds the chance to enjoy the fun of football. The positive energy created serves to unite the community in a show of strength, and exemplifies the Club’s purpose of acting continuously for the betterment of our society.
After a series of competitions and networking events, Manchester United legend Nicky Butt, their coaches and players visited a school where they interacted with local children and their parents. Introducing people from all walks of life to the professional and international-calibre training methods of Manchester United helped to that they take hold in the community.
