Introduction

The Club has always been a strong supporter of the development of football in Hong Kong. In early 2012, it began sponsoring the Summer Scheme. Organised by the Hong Kong Football Association since 1971, it is the largest youth football development programme in town, with kids from all over Hong Kong taking part each year. The programme aims to cultivate more people to be interested in football and nurture young talents through teaching them the basic knowledge of football and practice sessions.

Programme Details

“Jockey Club Youth Football Development Programme－Summer Scheme 2021” is funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust as a Major Partner, organized by the Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA), subvented by Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) . This summer, the programme will be resumed in a new mixed model, composed by physical classes and mini-competitions. Additional online training are also available to participants and all youngsters from Hong Kong are welcome to join and enjoy the fun of football.

This programme will provide a football training platform from July to August this year for about 8,000 local youngsters aged 4 to 16, including 4 physical classes and two days of mini-competitions. The 5 online classes are additional and free-of-charge, which are optional to participants. Moreover, the programme also includes parent-child elements by providing parent classes for parents and students aged 3 to 7 to participate in 4 physical classes.

The Summer Scheme this year will run from mid-July to end of August. Participants must follow the anti-pandemic measures and arrangements by the organiser. The activities may adjust according to the pandemic development and the government health measures. The HKFA reserves the rights to make a final decision.

2) Download the Enrolment form from HKFA website at https://www.hkfa.com/en/load_page/467 and mail it to the Hong Kong Football Association (55 Fat Kwong Street, Ho Man Tin, Kowloon) or submit it at the HKFA Office.

* The postmark date on the enrolment forms shall be deemed the date of registration. The enrolment form collected in the collection box everyday will be processed together with the enrolment forms received from the mail.

Enrolment date and time: 10:00 on 8 June 2021 – 23:59 on 15 June 2021

The programme will be admitted by balloting and the results will be announced on 21 June.
