Racing Incident Report

REWARDING STAR began awkwardly, bumped the hindquarters of GOOD TO GREAT and lost ground. Shortly after the start, AURELIAN and REWARDING STAR were checked when crowded for room between WISDOM EXPRESS which shifted in slightly and GOOD TO GREAT which was carried out by GIFTED RUNNER which began awkwardly and shifted ground. From a wide barrier, SPY KING was taken across behind runners. Making the turn at the 1000 Metres, BEAMING RIVER got its head on the side, shifted in away from SPY KING and was checked to avoid the heels of CHERISHED which at this time itself was steadied away from the heels of PROFIT HILL. Shortly after the 1000 Metres, CHERISHED was steadied to avoid the heels of MASTER YING which got its head on the side and shifted in. GIFTED RUNNER made the turn at the 600 Metres awkwardly, became unbalanced and then gave ground. At the 400 Metres, SPY KING and BEAMING RIVER became unbalanced after bumping. At the 250 Metres, GOOD TO GREAT was steadied and shifted to the outside of PROFIT HILL, then for a short distance had difficulty obtaining clear running. After the 200 Metres, BEAMING RIVER, which for some distance had been held up and unable to obtain clear running, was steadied and shifted to the outside of CHERISHED. At the 100 Metres, SPY KING, which was closing the race off strongly, was steadied when having difficulty obtaining clear running between WISDOM EXPRESS and PROFIT HILL which at this time was giving ground. In the Straight, MASTER YING hung in. Throughout the race, WONDERFUL WORLD travelled wide and without cover. WISDOM EXPRESS was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. A veterinary inspection of WISDOM EXPRESS after the race did not show any significant findings. AURELIAN and CHERISHED were sent for sampling.
