Racing Incident Report
NATURAL ECHO began awkwardly and lost ground. DANEPRINT began awkwardly, causing D Whyte, its rider, to become unbalanced. After this, DANEPRINT was taken across behind runners. FLYING PROFILE began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of CAPTAIN BUNNY. In the early stages, FRAMES DEPOT proved difficult to settle. Near the 1600 Metres, FLYING PROFILE was steadied when inconvenienced between DANEPRINT and AMBITIOUS MARJU which at this time was carried out by THREE CLUBS (C Soumillon). C Soumillon was reprimanded and told to exercise greater care. Near the 1200 Metres, NATURAL ECHO and FLYING PROFILE were crowded for room inside THREE CLUBS which at this time momentarily shifted to a position behind FRAMES DEPOT. Passing the 1200 Metres, AMBITIOUS MARJU, which was proving difficult to settle, was steadied away from the heels of RED FORTUNE. After the 1000 Metes, GREEN IDEAL broke down and was eased out of the race. When GREEN IDEAL broke down, the following runners were checked: KNIGHT TEMPLAR, RED FORTUNE, SPARKLE, FRAMES DEPOT, THREE CLUBS, FLYING PROFILE, AMBITIOUS MARJU, NEW TAMAR and SHOW BRAVELY and DANEPRINT. NATURAL ECHO was also hampered. At the 800 Metres, THREE CLUBS was steadied away from the heels of FRAMES DEPOT. Approaching and passing the 600 Metres, SPARKLE was hampered and carried wider by AMBITIOUS MARJU which when continuing to prove difficult to settle was shifted from the fence into a three wide position. In the circumstances, no action was taken. At the 300 Metres, Apprentice K L Chui (CAPTAIN BUNNY) dropped his right rein. In the Straight, RED FORTUNE hung in. THREE CLUBS was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. FLYING PROFILE was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of THREE CLUBS and FLYING PROFILE after the race did not show any significant findings. CAPTAIN BUNNY and KNIGHT TEMPLAR were sent for sampling.
