Racing Incident Report

As the gates opened, TOP HONOR sat back, then bounded in the air and lost ground at the start. GIFT was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, CYPRESS HILL was checked when crowded for room between MINE HOST which shifted in and LUCKSWELL which after beginning awkwardly shifted out. From a gate towards the outside, CALIFORNIASUNSHINE was immediately shifted across behind runners. Near the 1300 Metres, DAY OR NIGHT was steadied when crowded for room inside LEILATI which momentarily shifted in. At the 1000 Metres, DEEP OCEAN broke down and was eased out of the race. In the middle stages, LUCKY SIXER hung out. Making the Home Turn, LUCKSWELL hung out. After the 300 Metres, LUCKSWELL was bumped by WONG'S SUCCESS which shifted in. Over the concluding stages, CYPRESS HILL hung in. The performance of EVER SUCCESS, which tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, EVER SUCCESS will have to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. LUCKY SIXER was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of LUCKY SIXER after the race did not show any significant findings. BEST GIFT and WONG'S SUCCESS were sent for sampling.
