Racing Incident Report

ALL THE BEST jumped very awkwardly and as a consequence of this J Murtagh was momentarily unbalanced. BONANZA missed the start slightly, but was then checked rather severely when GOOD MESSAGE on leaving the gates shifted out abruptly. DANDY BUNNY left the gates awkwardly, bumped the inside of its gate and was further inconvenienced by LOTUS SUPREME which on jumping shifted out abruptly to join ELLEN'S WON. UPTOMEEYES and GET IT EASY were slowly away. From a difficult gate, GOOD FRIENDS raced in a forward position, but was wide and at no stage found cover. R Fradd (ELLEN'S WON) said from the outside draw the horse jumped but then immediately shifted to the outside rail, despite his efforts would not stretch out and tailed off. The performance of ELLEN'S WON was considered to be unacceptable and before the horse will be allowed to race again, it must perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend and from an outside gate. Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, DARLEY hung out. About the 300 Metres, UPTOMEEYES was steadied when disappointed for running between GOOD MESSAGE and MY FRIENDS SAY which shifted out. GET IT EASY was held up in the Straight and did not obtain running until after the 200 Metres, then when finding the line quite strongly was shifted to the inside of GOOD FRIENDS. In the run to the winning post, DANDY BUNNY hung in. DANDY BUNNY and ELLEN'S WON were sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
