Racing Incident Report
MAJESTIC FEELING, which had been fractious after being boxed, was slow to begin. TANAHMERAH was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, MAJESTIC FEELING and SILVERBIRD were momentarily crowded for room inside GRAND FIGHTER which shifted in slightly. After this incident, MAJESTIC FEELING was hard ridden to make up ground and near the 1000 Metres was again steadied when momentarily crowded for room inside ABLE EAGLE. Near the 700 Metres, GRAND FIGHTER was momentarily steadied to avoid the heels of KEEN FLYER (D Dunn) which shifted in when not properly clear. D Dunn was advised to exercise care. Making the turn after the 700 Metres, SAINTLY PARTNERS was inclined to lay out. UPBEAT raced wide and without cover throughout. MAJESTIC FEELING, KEEN FLYER and SAINTLY PARTNERS were sent for sampling. After the race, it was noted MAJESTIC FEELING had sustained a small laceration to the right hind cannon.
