Racing Incident Report
Whilst walking in the Parade Ring, TRICCOLO made contact with a rail. After arriving at the Start, the horse was trotted up, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and he said in his opinion was suitable to race. KIWI STAR jumped very awkwardly with its head up, shifted out, as a consequence lost considerable ground, then in the early stages was reluctant to stretch out. On jumping, KIMBO BELL and PRIVATE LIFE came together. About the 1000 Metres, MONEY was steadied to take up a position behind TRICCOLO. About the 800 Metres, KIMBO BELL was unbalanced when awkwardly placed between THE RICH MAN and MONEY. About the 200 Metres, STRIKERS was steadied and shifted out when disappointed for running between MONEY and PRIVATE LIFE. Shortly after this, STRIKERS was further inconvenienced when MONEY shifted out abruptly. Over the concluding stages, MONEY hung out. KIWI STAR was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
