5 5 MISSION VOICE (H444) L Ferraris B Ridden positively from a poor draw to lead or dispute lead out wide, gained outright advantage on rail coming onto home bend, re-joined in front by eventual winner into straight and soon found no extra under pressure.
6 1 HARMONY GALAXY (J266) P N Wong TT Chased leaders early, lost ground drifting back to over 2L back in 5th onto home bend becoming 4th 3-wide shortly after, faded steadily in straight.
7 10 STERLING WONGCHOY (H273) A Badel SR/XB Soon taken well back from a poor draw for rails run, trailed the field into straight, kept on same pace without quickening under pressure.
8 11 MISTER FOX (J059) B Thompson CP1 Broke well from a poor draw and soon taken well behind, shifted widest when 5-wide rounding home bend, ran past well-beaten horses down the centre of the straight.
9 6 LUCKY IMPACT (J337) K Teetan -- Never better than midfield, 3-wide rounding home bend and wider into straight, made no further impression. (Jockey said horse did not travel at any stage.) (Blood in trachea)
