4 12 GLITTERING (CJ343) Z Purton -- Took a sit along the paint and parked in 2nd position. Tracked the leader until hitting the front near the 250m, was overhauled late.
5 5 POLYGOLD (CK309) B Doyle CP Settled at the rear of the field on the rails. Endeavoured to come to the outside of runners in the home straight but was unable to do so, ran on nicely through the field.

11 7 GREEN GLORY (CJ177) M Chadwick B/TT Raced worse than midfield the fence. Only plodded to the line.
12 14 HUA SHI (CK324) G Cheyne B Travelled 3 wide without cover on the circle behind midfield. Carted wider on from the 600m and was never likely.
13 3 QUELLE SURPRISE (CL008) T Clark -- Caught wide early then was able to shift into 3 deep with cover near the 800m, travelling near the tail of the field. Failed to close off.
14 6 SPARKLING (CK149) O Doleuze CP-/B2 Sent forward and led at a good clip opening a 4L lead. Steadied the ship midrace but was a spent force at the furlong.
