8 STRAIGHT FORWARD (CL100) G Mosse TT Dropped back and confidently ridden in the rear, swung 3-wide into stretch, showed a devastating turn of foot and came from last to hit the front inside 100 M, drew away.
9 ABLE SPEED (CK210) D Beadman B/H/TT Broke well, close up with leaders early then restrained to a 3-wide position behind midfield, responded well to urging inside 400 M, had no chance with the winner but stayed on best of the best to go 2nd near the line.
10 CHEER (CL277) D Whyte TT Slow to begin, soon guided to the rail and improved to a midfield position, travelled strongly to home straight, ran on well and loomed 200 M but outpaced by first 2 over the final stages.
11 FUN RIDER (CK231) B Prebble B Towards the rear along the inside, raced a shade keen, checked 1000 M and lost ground, didn't have the clearest of runs inside 350 M and had to weave his way forward, stayed on.
1 MARK UP (CK247) C Y Ho -- Not hurried after the jump, dropped back to last but only 4-5Ls off the pace, had to shift to outside of track for clear running, stayed on.
3 FORTUNE RED PEPPER (CK199) O Doleuze -- Close up behind leaders, loomed a threat mid-straight but couldn't sustain effort inside 100 M.
4 HAPPY TUMBLER (CL048) M Guyon XB Saved ground on the inside tracking leaders, had his chance in straight but could keep on at the same pace only.
2 GREAT ACHIEVEMENT (CD250) B Doyle TT Chased 6-deep on the first turn early then dropped back to race 3-wide in the 2nd flight, stayed on only fairly final 300 M and never looked like getting to leaders.
5 ABSOLUTE HEDGE (CL032) Z Purton TT Went forward and pressed leader 2-wide, took over 1000 M-750 M then held back, had the lead again near 400 M, hung on to 200 M then gradually weakened.
7 IRON FIST (CH143) H W Lai TT Settled in mid-division along the 2-path, about 3Ls off the pace inside 400 M but had little to offer when asked, weakened 200 M.
12 DEPOSER (CL092) T H So TT Set the pace inside but pressed by rivals from 1200 M, outpaced when the pace got serious nearing the home straight, no extra inside 200 M.
6 QUICK TOUCH (CJ196) Y T Cheng -- Battled for the lead but was caught 3-wide for most of the trip, under pressure passing 500 M and had little left turning in, eased 150 M out.
