11 G368  VIVA CHALEUR  19/11/2025   190  VIVA CHALEUR (G368) when questioned rider stated that his instructions were to attempt to find a position midfield with cover. He said from the outside barrier his mount jumped well and as a result was able to hold a forward position in the early stages. He added that with blinkers being applied for the first time his mount over-raced throughout the early stages which resulted in the horse improving to the lead. He further stated that although he was aware that the sectional times were being run inside of standard time he was unable to set a more sustainable pace as his mount was racing too keenly and would not respond to his efforts to come back. He said due to its racing manners his mount weakened in the Home Straight. After the race was examined by the vet who found that horse to have an epiglottic entrapment - Race 190.

2 K052  NOBLE DELUXE  12/11/2025   171  NOBLE DELUXE (K052) rider reported that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. He added despite the wide run his mount gave ground quickly in the Home Straight and he felt there may be something amiss with the horse. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 171.
