2 12 KASA PAPA (G312) For a short distance near the 400 Metres was held up behind OCEAN IMPACT. Near the 250 Metres made contact with OUR LUCKY GLORY due to both runners shifting ground. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 10 OUR LUCKY GLORY (G292) Near the 250 Metres made contact with KASA PAPA due to both runners shifting ground.
4 5 CAN'T GO WONG (H087) No report.
5 3 HAKKA RADIANCE (J105) Sent for sampling post-race.
6 7 CHINA WIN (K395) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages and raced ungenerously when being shifted in to obtain cover. Near the 800 Metres shifted out when being steadied away from CAN’T GO WONG when it was racing keenly.
7 1 NEARLY FINE (E430) In the early stages was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Apprentice E C W Wong was reprimanded for using whip on consecutive occasions in 2 consecutive strides near the 250 Metres and again near the 200 Metres.
8 11 VIVACIOUS WIN (K223) After improving to the inside of PING HAI COMET leaving the 300 Metres became unbalanced at the 250 Metres when reluctant to hold its position to the inside of PING HAI COMET. Near the 200 Metres was briefly crowded by PING HAI COMET.
9 2 SUPREME AGILITY (J267) Shortly after the start raced tight between KASA PAPA and NORTHERN BEAST and as a result was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Z Purton stated that with the early and middle stages of the event being run outside of standard time his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight from back in the field. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, SUPREME AGILITY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
10 6 PING HAI COMET (H344) M L Yeung reported that his mount lay in throughout the event and near the 200 Metres shifted in, resulting in him having to stop riding and straighten his mount. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 4 NORTHERN BEAST (H233) No report.
12 8 CALIFORNIA SUN (J129) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
