12 | MY DAY MY WAY (J519) | From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
1 | CHEAHA (K567) | Bumped on the first turn. Z Purton reported that his mount settled back in the field and finished the race off in a satisfactory manner. He added that, in his opinion, CHEAHA is better suited by being stepped up in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, CHEAHA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
10 | ALSONSO (J405) | Bumped shortly after the start. A Badel reported that the intention was to hold an on-pace position but not lead. He said in the early stages ALSONSO, which was racing in blinkers for the first time, raced keenly and as a result led the event. He added that he attributed tonight’s disappointing performance to the fact that ALSONSO was not suited by racing in the lead. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
6 | GIANT LEAP (J143) | No report.
8 | CAPTAIN LINK (K515) | Jumped only fairly and was then bumped by GOKO WIN which shifted out. Making the first turn shifted out and made contact with CHEAHA. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
