Racing Incident Report

SWOT TROOPERS WIND was withdrawn on 5.5.20 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (blood abnormality) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter VICTORY MASTERY (K C Leung). Before being allowed to race again, SWOT TROOPERS WIND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
DIONYSUS COLLIN began awkwardly.
GO BALLISTIC shifted out at the start and bumped the hindquarters of RICH AND LUCKY which became unbalanced.
From a wide barrier, SPEED FORCE was shifted across behind runners shortly after the start.
Passing the 300 Metres, DIONYSUS COLLIN was shifted out away from the heels of BIG BANG BONG and VICTORY MASTERY to obtain clear running.
Passing the 250 Metres, GO BALLISTIC raced close to the heels of ROYAL RACER when being shifted to the outside of that horse to obtain clear running.
Throughout the race, FLAME LILY travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of FLAME LILY and VICTORY MASTERY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
RICH AND LUCKY and DIONYSUS COLLIN were sent for sampling.
<7/5/2020 Additional Veterinary Report>FLAME LILY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. FLAME LILY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer F C Lor this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, FLAME LILY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
