Racing Incident Report
PERFECT TO PLAY was slow to begin and then shortly after the start was steadied away from the heels of ENJOY LIFE which shifted out.
BULB ELITE shifted in at the start and bumped the hindquarters of HARRIER JET which stumbled on jumping. This resulted in BULB ELITE becoming unbalanced and losing ground.
From wide barriers, NITRO EXPRESS and LET’S TAKE IT EASY were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Approaching the 1200 Metres, BLOOMING SPIRIT, which was being steadied to obtain cover, was momentarily steadied away from the heels of HARRIER JET which shifted in.
DIAMOND LEGEND travelled wide and without cover until after the 900 Metres at which stage LET’S TAKE IT EASY was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 500 Metres, TUNG WAH GLORY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of ENJOY LIFE when unable to proceed between that horse and LET’S TAKE IT EASY. In this incident, TUNG WAH GLORY and LET’S TAKE IT EASY bumped, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced.
In the early part of the Straight, ENJOY LIFE and LET’S TAKE IT EASY raced tight. ENJOY LIFE then had some difficulty obtaining clear running when attempting to improve into a tight run between LET’S TAKE IT EASY and BULB ELITE. Then passing the 150 Metres, ENJOY LIFE was steadied when disappointed for running between LET’S TAKE IT EASY and BULB ELITE which raced tight outside SUNNY POWER.
SUNNY POWER had some difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 200 Metres.
Over the final 200 Metres, DOR DOR was unable to obtain clear running and consequently was not tested.
PERFECT TO PLAY had some difficulty obtaining clear running until passing the 150 Metres.
DOR DOR, SUNNY POWER and BULB ELITE were sent for sampling.
