Racing Incident Report

EXCEL DELIGHT began only fairly.
GREAT VICTORY began only fairly and then shortly after the start was steadied away from the heels of LA BOMBA which shifted out.
DEMONS ROCK began awkwardly and then was bumped on the hindquarters by WHISTLE UP which shifted out.
Despite being hard ridden for a considerable distance in the early and middle stages, WINWIN THIRTYTHREE failed to muster speed.
From the outside barrier, BANDY was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 600 Metres, HAPPY COOPERATION was awkwardly placed close to the heels of WHISTLE UP.
Throughout the race, TRIUMPHANT LORD travelled wide and without cover.
B Shinn was spoken to regarding the amount of whip he used on TRIUMPHANT LORD when it was out of contention. He was placed on notice that as this was the second time this season that he had been spoken to regarding this matter, further action may be taken should he offend again in the future.
A veterinary inspection of DEMONS ROCK immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of GREAT VICTORY immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils.
GOUTEN OF GARO and EXCEL DELIGHT were sent for sampling.
