Racing Incident Report
HAY RUN bounded in the air at the start, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of PLAY IT which was hampered. This resulted in HAY RUN losing ground.
BULLISH GLORY was slow to begin.
HO HO FEEL shifted out at the start and bumped AEROLUMINANCE, causing both horses to become unbalanced.
Despite being vigorously ridden for a considerable distance in the early stages, MIDNITE PROMISE was slow to muster speed.
Near the 1500 Metres, LET US WIN shifted in and bumped AEROLUMINANCE. After this, LET US WIN and AEROLUMINANCE raced tight for some distance.
Rounding the Home Turn, AEROLUMINANCE and EVER LAUGH raced tight as EVER LAUGH attempted to shift to the outside of LET US WIN. After being disappointed for running outside LET US WIN, EVER LAUGH was then shifted to the inside of that horse passing the 400 Metres. EVER LAUGH subsequently raced in restricted room inside LET US WIN approaching and passing the 350 Metres as that horse lay in under pressure.
HO HO FEEL had difficulty obtaining clear running approaching and passing the 300 Metres.
Passing the 250 Metres, PLAY IT was shifted in away from the heels of ULTIMATE DREAM to continue improving.
Near the 150 Metres, Apprentice C Wong (PREMIUM CHAMPION) dropped his whip.
Near the 75 Metres, PLAY IT was shifted out from behind AEROLUMINANCE. Then over the concluding stages, PLAY IT raced tight outside AEROLUMINANCE.
A veterinary inspection of EVER LAUGH and MIDNITE PROMISE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
EVER LAUGH, HO HO FEEL and POLYMER LUCK were sent for sampling.
