Racing Incident Report
WALDORF began very awkwardly, resulting in its rider, M Chadwick, becoming badly unbalanced. WALDORF then raced detached from the field throughout the race and finished at the tail of the field. The performance of WALDORF was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, WALDORF will be required to perform competitively in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
SUMSTREETSUMWHERE began awkwardly and then bumped EXTREMELY FUN. SUMSTREETSUMWHERE was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the race, C Y Ho reported that SUMSTREETSUMWHERE lay in throughout the race, particularly in the Straight when placed under pressure.
From the outside barrier, ROYAL MOJITO was shifted across behind runners a short distance after the start.
After travelling a short distance, GREAT PROFIT was momentarily crowded for room between MISSION TYCOON and GO PUBLIC.
Passing the 400 Metres, STAR SHINE was shifted out across the heels of WAKEY to obtain clear running.
ROYAL MOJITO shifted out under pressure in the early part of the Straight.
Approaching the 300 Metres, STAR SHINE shifted out marginally and made light contact with GO PUBLIC. GO PUBLIC and STAR SHINE consequently became unbalanced which resulted in GO PUBLIC shifting out and brushing MISSION TYCOON which also became unbalanced.
Passing the 200 Metres, WAKEY was momentarily awkwardly placed outside the heels of SPEEDY KING which got its head on the side and shifted out under pressure.
Close to the finishing line, SUMSTREETSUMWHERE, which was finishing off the race well, was shifted out away from the heels of BEAUTY ENERGY.
Throughout the race, GO PUBLIC travelled wide and without cover.
MISSION TYCOON, STAR SHINE and ROYAL MOJITO were sent for sampling.
