Racing Incident Report

When parading behind the barriers, ISTANBUL BEY became fractious and made contact with CHIU CHOW KID's hindquarters. CHIU CHOW KID was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said that the horse was suitable to race.
ISTANBUL BEY began only fairly and was then checked when crowded for room between RAICHU which shifted out and SHINNING MOON which shifted in abruptly. In this incident, RAICHU and SHINNING MOON both became badly unbalanced after bumping heavily.
VICTORY MACHINE began only fairly.
Shortly after the start, MR RIGHT shifted out and bumped LITTLE DEVIL.
From a wide barrier, CHIU CHOW KID was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Also from the outside barrier, RHODE ASSASSIN was shifted across behind runners.
Making the turn after the 900 Metres, SHINNING MOON got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of LITTLE DEVIL.
In the early part of the Straight, ISTANBUL BEY lay in under pressure, resulting in its rider changing his whip over into his right hand.
Over the final 250 Metres, SHINNING MOON lay in under pressure and proved difficult to ride.
Close to the finishing line, CROWN AVENUE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SHINNING MOON.
A veterinary inspection of VICTORY MACHINE and MULTIMAX immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HOUSE OF FUN and HAPPY AGILITY were sent for sampling.
