Racing Incident Report
INFINITE COURAGE began awkwardly and after being ridden along was slow to muster speed.
SUPER HORSE and COOL PAL bumped at the start.
TRIUMPHANT DRAGON shifted out at the start and bumped TAI PO FORTUNE.
From the outside barrier, POWER BLITZ was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Approaching the 1500 Metres, STREET CAT and SUPER HORSE were hampered when AMAZING GIFT shifted out after being bumped by INFINITE COURAGE which was crowded for room outside TAI PO FORTUNE which shifted out marginally.
Passing the 1300 Metres, INFINITE COURAGE was steadied away from the heels of VIVA DOLPHIN which was awkwardly placed inside the heels of COOL PAL.
Also passing the 1300 Metres, LITTLE WIND was momentarily crowded for room inside HONG KONG FAT which got its head on the side and shifted in.
Approaching the 1200 Metres, TRIUMPHANT DRAGON got its head up on a number of occasions when racing in restricted room between FIERY PATROL and INFINITE COURAGE which shifted in when awkwardly placed close to the heels of VIVA DOLPHIN. TRIUMPHANT DRAGON continued to travel keenly for some distance and again got its head up on a number of occasions when awkwardly placed behind VIVA DOLPHIN.
Passing the 1200 Metres, STREET CAT shifted out when proving difficult to settle and awkwardly placed close to the heels of AMAZING GIFT.
After the 1200 Metres, INFINITE COURAGE was left racing wide and without cover.
TRIUMPHANT DRAGON (Z Purton) was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight and near the 250 Metres shifted out, resulting in LITTLE WIND being steadied away from the heels of TRIUMPHANT DRAGON. Z Purton was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground.
OPTIMIZATION STAR had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight and near the 250 Metres shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of AMAZING GIFT, causing both horses to become unbalanced.
Approaching the 100 Metres, TRIUMPHANT DRAGON and HONG KONG FAT bumped.
Over the concluding stages, TRIUMPHANT DRAGON got its head up when racing in restricted room between HONG KONG FAT and POWER BLITZ (K Teetan) which shifted out. K Teetan was advised to exercise more care.
A veterinary inspection of TRIUMPHANT DRAGON immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
TRIUMPHANT DRAGON, FOLLOW THE WIND and COOL PAL were sent for sampling.
