Racing Incident Report

On arrival at the Start, the tongue tie applied to OUTDOOR PEGASUS was refitted.
LITTLE MEN was crowded for room at the start between OUTDOOR PEGASUS and REWARDING HERO which began awkwardly. REWARDING HERO was then taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
TABLEAUX was crowded for room a short distance after the start inside BEAUTY FLAME which got its head on the side and shifted in after being bumped by ABLE FRIEND.
Despite being ridden along in the early stages, REAL GENEROUS failed to muster speed.
Passing the 700 Metres, GALLANT TRIUMPH was taken wider by ABLE FRIEND which shifted to the outside of AUTUMN GOLD to improve.
Passing the 600 Metres, TABLEAUX was checked when disappointed for running after attempting to improve between REAL GENEROUS and PRESIDENT LINCOLN where there was insufficient room. TABLEAUX was then held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight and approaching the 250 Metres was shifted to the outside of PRESIDENT LINCOLN to obtain clear running.
For some distance approaching and passing the 400 Metres, PRESIDENT LINCOLN was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MAJESTIC FALCON.
Passing the 250 Metres, PRESIDENT LINCOLN was steadied away from the heels of MAJESTIC FALCON due to both horses shifting ground marginally.
REAL GENEROUS was held up for clear running from near the 250 Metres until the concluding stages. Because of this, REAL GENEROUS was not able to be properly tested.
Approaching the 100 Metres, TABLEAUX was shifted in to obtain clear running and was momentarily awkwardly placed outside the heels of MAJESTIC FALCON.
Passing the 50 Metres, PRESIDENT LINCOLN was checked when disappointed for running between BEAUTY FLAME and LITTLE MEN which shifted in when giving ground. As the Stewards were of the opinion that PRESIDENT LINCOLN had not properly established running between BEAUTY FLAME and LITTLE MEN, no further action was taken.
Throughout the race, LITTLE MEN travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of EAGLE POWER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ABLE FRIEND and REWARDING HERO were sent for sampling.
