Racing Incident Report

Following a report that the tongue tie was unable to be fitted to DIVINE DIYA due to that horse being extremely fractious when being saddled, the Stewards approved for DIVINE DIYA to race without that piece of equipment.
DRAGON FIGHTER began awkwardly.
PEPPERMINT began only fairly.
Shortly after the start, DRAGON FIGHTER was crowded for room inside KING OF HOUSEHOLD which was taken in by MEGA CHAMPION (A Suborics). A Suborics was severely reprimanded and advised to ensure that he makes every endeavour to prevent his mounts from shifting ground at the start when not clear of other runners.
Both PEPPERMINT and DRAGON FIGHTER were taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Making the first turn near the 900 Metres, EXCITING DREAM got its head on the side and shifted out towards the hindquarters of HORSE APLENTY.
Approaching the 500 Metres, M L Yeung’s (SICHUAN EXEC) whip became entangled as he attempted to change it into his right hand. As this was occurring, SICHUAN EXEC became unbalanced when awkwardly placed close to the heels of GOOD GOOD VIEW.
DIVINE DIYA had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
Passing the 300 Metres, JOLLY GOOD STAR, which was commencing to give ground, was steadied away from the heels of MEGA CHAMPION which got its head on the side and shifted in slightly.
Approaching the 100 Metres, HELENE FUN STAR was shifted out away from DIVINE DIYA which shifted ground.
Throughout the race, HORSE APLENTY travelled wide and without cover.
SICHUAN EXEC, SUPER LIFELINE and EXCITING DREAM were sent for sampling.
