Racing Incident Report
LONDON CHINA TOWN began awkwardly and then soon after the start was hampered by CALIFORNIA BOUNTY which shifted in, resulting in LONDON CHINA TOWN losing ground.
BEAR HERO began awkwardly.
From the outside barrier, CHEETAH BOY was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
VITAL FLYER made the 600 Metre turn very awkwardly.
After initially attempting to improve between CHARITY SPIRIT and ENSEMBLE at the entrance to the Straight, STRAIGHT GOLD was directed in across the heels of ENSEMBLE near the 250 Metres to obtain clear running.
In the early stages of the Straight, LONDON CHINA TOWN was held up for clear running behind CHARITY SPIRIT and to the inside of BEAR HERO.
After passing the 200 Metres, WINDICATOR STAR was steadied when tightened for room inside TOUCH GO (C K Tong) which shifted in slightly when giving ground. C K Tong was reprimanded and advised to exercise more care.
BEAR HERO and CHARITY SPIRIT raced wide and without cover throughout the race.
A veterinary inspection of WINDICATOR STAR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ENSEMBLE and STRAIGHT GOLD were sent for sampling.
