Racing Incident Report
Whilst in the Parade Ring, SUPER JOCKEY had its left front plate refitted. On arrival at the barriers, SUPER JOCKEY was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
From outside barriers, SUPER JOCKEY and BIG FOUR were taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
After the 900 Metres, FIGHTER CLASS commenced to over-race and was steadied away from the heels of WINNIE’S HORSE making the turn near the 850 Metres. In this incident, FIGHTER CLASS shifted out and bumped SUPER CAGA.
Passing the 700 Metres, EASY SUCCESS was hampered when crowded for room inside ATACX which was racing tight inside WINNIE’S HORSE. SUPER JOCKEY, which was following, was hampered in consequence.
Rounding the Home Turn, EASY SUCCESS was steadied away from the heels of ATACX which was endeavouring to shift out from behind MERIDIAN TREASURE.
Both DYNAMIC VOYAGE and KEEN WONGCHOY had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
At the 400 Metres, ATACX was shifted out away from the heels of HEARTS KEEPER.
SUPER JOCKEY was unable to obtain clear running until passing the 300 Metres.
Near the 250 Metres, DYNAMIC VOYAGE raced tight between ATACX and FIGHTER CLASS.
Throughout the race, SUPER CAGA travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of BIG FOUR and EASY SUCCESS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SMART VOLATILITY and SMART MAN were sent for sampling.
