Racing Incident Report

ALL TIMES LUCKY was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
From a wide barrier, JAZZY FEELING was shifted across behind runners to a position closer to the rail.
FANTASTICO and PROSPEROUS WIN bumped at the start. A short distance later, FANTASTICO was crowded for room between PROSPEROUS WIN and BULLISH BOY which shifted out.
Approaching the 1000 Metres, FANTASTICO was severely checked and blundered when crowded for room between BULLISH BOY which shifted out and RED LUCKY STAR (B Prebble) which shifted in. B Prebble was severely reprimanded and advised that whilst there was a significant contribution from BULLISH BOY which was directed out by its rider to prevent causing crowding to its inside, nonetheless he had allowed his mount to shift in too far before attempting to straighten it. He was also advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground in similar circumstances. When FANTASTICO was checked, the horse shifted out abruptly, resulting in SILVER DRAGON being taken very wide.
Passing the 900 Metres, HONG KONG DANCER raced tight inside HIGHEST ACCLAIM which was taken in by BULLISH BOY which got its head on the side and shifted in.
After the 600 Metres, JAZZY FEELING became unbalanced when racing tight inside ALL TIMES LUCKY which in turn was awkwardly placed inside the heels of CHINA GOOD. Then near the 500 Metres, JAZZY FEELING was again crowded for room when continuing to race in restricted room inside ALL TIMES LUCKY which at this time got its head on the side and shifted in away from CHINA GOOD.
Approaching the 300 Metres, JAZZING FEELING shifted to the inside of RED LUCKY STAR to continue improving.
Throughout the race, VICTORY GENERAL travelled wide and without cover.
C Y Ho (PROSPEROUS WIN) was spoken to regarding using the whip on a horse out of contention.
When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of BULLISH BOY, M Chadwick stated that he had to make some use of the horse in the early stages to obtain a forward position as instructed. He said BULLISH BOY raced in a three wide position until approaching the 800 Metres at which time he was able to obtain a position one horse off the rail. He said the horse came under pressure passing the 400 Metres to maintain its position and then in the Straight, despite being ridden out, was disappointing in the manner in which it weakened. He added, in his opinion, BULLISH BOY did not handle the track conditions tonight. A veterinary inspection of BULLISH BOY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
HIGHEST ACCLAIM and JAZZY FEELING were sent for sampling.
