Racing Incident Report

AMBITIOUS GLORY was withdrawn on 1.2.13 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right hind) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter RAY OF GOLD (K C Leung). Before being allowed to race again, AMBITIOUS GLORY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RAY OF GOLD began awkwardly.
MAROON PRINCE began only fairly.
Shortly after the start, NOBODY BUT YOU shifted out and bumped FIERY RAIDER.
Despite being ridden along in the early stages, SUPREME HONG KONG failed to muster speed.
After the 1000 Metres, HEARTS KEEPER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of REGENCY CHAMPION.
Approaching the 600 Metres, MAROON PRINCE got its head on the side, shifted out and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of NOBODY BUT YOU.
Shortly after entering the Straight, FLYING CHINA was hampered when taken out by SUPREME HONG KONG (U Rispoli) which shifted out. U Rispoli was advised to exercise care.
In the early part of the Straight, MAROON PRINCE was awkwardly placed outside NOBODY BUT YOU which shifted out slightly.
Near the 300 Metres, FIERY RAIDER shifted out away from the heels of REGENCY CHAMPION to obtain clear running.
Throughout the race, WHAT A HEART travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of MAROON PRINCE after the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of JADE PIPPO including an endoscopic examination after the race showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, JADE PIPPO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
MAROON PRINCE, DANEWIN TIGER and SUPREME HONG KONG were sent for sampling.
