Racing Incident Report
RACING REWARD was withdrawn on 3.7.12 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore foot) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter NORDIC STAR (W M Lai). Before being allowed to race again, RACING REWARD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. CARE FREE PEGASUS began awkwardly. From wide barriers, MOCHI and SECRETARY OF STATE were taken across behind runners shortly after the start. CRAIG’S PRIDE raced wide and without cover until near the 900 Metres. A veterinary inspection of CRAIG’S PRIDE after the race did not show any significant findings. ENABLING and MEGA CHAMPION were sent for sampling.
