Racing Incident Report
BOSS was withdrawn on 20.1.11 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (inappetance). MATSUKAZE was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, BOSS and MATSUKAZE will both be subjected to an official veterinary examination. MY WHISKY shifted in abruptly at the start despite the efforts of its rider, Apprentice M L Yeung, resulting in SUNSEEKER being checked and GOOD GAINS and HARVEST DANCER also being crowded for room. CHINA DRAGON was slow to begin. Throughout the race, LAMBRO travelled wide and without cover and lay out making the Home Turn. A veterinary inspection of HORSESHOE FORTUNE after the race did not show any significant findings. MY WHISKY and WINNING EDGE were sent for sampling.
