Racing Incident Report

SHIFACHI TRADITION was slow to begin and then was steadied when crowded for room between FLYING IN and DRAGON FIGHTER which shifted out. SLEEP WELL was slow to begin. When being restrained to take up a position behind runners, FORTUNE RED PEPPER got its head up in the early stages. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, FLYING IN raced close to the heels of HAPPY TUMBLER. Near the 1000 Metres, FOREVER ELATION was left racing wide and without cover. For some distance approaching and passing the 800 Metres, FLYING IN was awkwardly placed close to the heels of HAPPY TUMBLER. Near the 50 Metres, DRAGON FIGHTER was steadied when racing in restricted room between INTERCHINA STAR and ABLE SPEED which got its head on the side and shifted in away from MARK UP. Over the concluding stages, ABLE SPEED was steadied away from the heels of MARK UP which shifted in slightly. Because of this, ABLE SPEED was not ridden out to the end of the race as it normally would be. In the Straight, HAPPY TUMBLER was not able to obtain clear running and because of this was not properly tested. DRAGON FIGHTER, MARK UP and SHIFACHI TRADITION were sent for sampling.
