Racing Incident Report
MEGABUCKS began awkwardly and shortly after the start was crowded for room between WIN THE CASH which was taken out slightly by KARBRIDGE and CLASSIC NAVIGATOR which shifted in after also beginning awkwardly. Shortly after the start, KHARU shifted out and was steadied away from the heels of NOT QUITE PERFECT. Passing the 900 Metres, KHARU was crowded for room inside NOT QUITE PERFECT which was taken in by KARBRIDGE (Apprentice C Y Ho) which shifted in when not properly clear. Apprentice Ho was advised to ensure he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground in future. After the 600 Metres, NOT QUITE PERFECT was left racing wide and without cover and making the first turn near the 550 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters by KHARU, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced. Close to the finishing line, MEGABUCKS and CLASSIC NAVIGATOR brushed. NOT QUITE PERFECT, KARBRIDGE and KHARU were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that CLASSIC NAVIGATOR had lost its left front plate.
