Racing Incident Report
As the start was effected, FORTUNE DRAGON, which was leaning against the inside of its stall, lifted its front feet off the ground and was slow to begin. CLASSIC ENERGY began awkwardly. Passing the 1400 Metres, LUCKYME was steadied when crowded for room between WIN MORE and BATURO, both of which shifted some ground. In the early part of the Straight, FOREST FOUNTAIN hung in and proved difficult to ride. Passing the 300 Metres, DASHING THUNDER was checked away from the heels of WIN MORE. C K Tong (SUPER BOBO) was severely reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift in under pressure near the 250 Metres when not clear of UPSIDE OF ANGER, causing that horse to be taken in and steadied. A veterinary inspection of WIN MORE and SPARKLING after the race did not show any significant findings. FUN RIDER, RAIN OF THUNDER and LUCKYME were sent for sampling.
