Racing Incident Report
After arriving at the Start, the tongue tie fitted to DECENT FELLOW was replaced. DRAGON BOY began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of NEW ASIA FORWARD. SIR LAGO was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, SPARKLE was checked when crowded for room between PURE ALPHA which was carried out by DECENT FELLOW which got its head on the side and shifted away from KING OF FISH and RISING WIN which began awkwardly and shifted in Shortly after this, RISING WIN, which was awkwardly placed inside the heels of ZERO GRAVITY, was checked to relieve the pressure it was applying to runners to its inside. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, SIMPLY THE BEST, which was racing wide, was steadied and taken back to a position with cover. This caused some crowding on its inside to SIR LAGO and RISING WIN. Then passing the 1200 Metres, SIMPLY THE BEST got its head on the side, shifted out and for the remainder of the race travelled wide and without cover. Passing the 1000 Metres, RISING WIN was steadied away from the heels of DECENT FELLOW. Approaching the 800 Metres, NEW ASIA FORWARD got its head up when being steadied while awkwardly placed close to the heels of ZERO GRAVITY. Passing the 600 Metres, DECENT FELLOW was unable to maintain its position when awkwardly placed between RISING WIN and SIR LAGO which commenced to shift out. Making the Home Turn and in the Straight, MASTER YING hung in. For the majority of the Home Straight, SPARKLE had difficulty obtaining clear running and because of this was not properly tested. MASTER YING and SIMPLY THE BEST were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of MASTER YING and SIMPLY THE BEST after the race did not show any significant findings. ZERO GRAVITY and KING OF FISH were sent for sampling.
