Racing Incident Report
ELEGANCE FORTUNE was a little slow to begin and then from a wide barrier was taken back. ONE TOUCH began awkwardly, then despite being ridden along took time to muster speed. Prior to the 400 Metres, ONE TOUCH was steadied away from the heels of POS TRUMPS which was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of SHANGDONG GENERAL. After this, POS TRUMPS was shifted to the inside of SHANGDONG GENERAL to go forward. Throughout the race, SUPER PEGASUS travelled wide and without cover. SHANGDONG GENERAL and DEMINER were sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, SHANGDONG GENERAL was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse was lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SHANGDONG GENERAL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Also after the race, DEMINER was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said there were no significant findings other than the horse had spread its right front plate. SUNNY GOLF and OCEAN TRANQUIL were sent for sampling.
