Racing Incident Report
EYE WITNESS began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped REGENCY DRAGON. On jumping, UNITED EFFORTS and AMBITIOUS GENERAL bumped when crowded for room inside FLORAL EL CUENTO which shifted in. Despite being ridden along in the early stages, GREAT GUY failed to muster speed. For the major part of the race, YOUNG HERO travelled wide and without cover. Y T Cheng (PLAN EX) reported his mount did not begin well today as is usual and as a consequence travelled in a rearward position. He said because of the fast tempo of the race PLAN EX continued to travel at the rear despite being ridden along, then in the Straight closed the race off strongly. UNITED EFFORTS was sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, UNITED EFFORTS was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse had bled from both nostrils. PLAN EX, MASTER POWER and OPERATION SECRET were sent for sampling.
