Racing Incident Report
After being boxed, SUNNY SMILES became fractious and reared. On jumping, HOT SUN and DECAGONAL bumped. Shortly after the start, EVER KING, which had been a little slow to begin, was crowded for room between CLASSIC KING and A MIRROR which shifted in after being bumped by PURE ALPHA. When crowded for room, EVER KING struck the heels of A MIRROR, blundered and lost a considerable amount of ground. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, BAAZIGAR got its head on the side, shifted out and was steadied away from the heels of SUNNY SMILES. Approaching the Home Turn, EVER KING was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of CLASSIC KING. On straightening, HELENE ELITE and CRUSH ON YOU were crowded for room outside BAAZIGAR which after initially being carried wider by SUPERNOVA was then steadied and shifted to the outside of SUNNY SMILES to obtain clear running. After the 400 Metres, DON RICARDO was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of CLASSIC KING which was giving ground. From on straightening until the 250 Metres, EVER KING was held up and unable to obtain clear running. At the 100 Metres, DON RICARDO was again steadied and shifted out away from the heels of CRUSH ON YOU. Throughout the race, LIVERBIRD travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. LIVERBIRD and HELENE ELITE were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of LIVERBIRD and HELENE ELITE after the race did not show any significant findings. CRUSH ON YOU, SUPERNOVA and BAAZIGAR were sent for sampling.
