Racing Incident Report

Trainer G Allendorf was fined $2,000 for initially presenting CONTINUED SUCCESS in the Parade Ring without blinkers, part of that horse's declared gear. ROYAL PRINCE bounded in the air at the start and lost ground. CONTINUED SUCCESS was slow to begin. From the outside barrier, STAR OF NITTAN was taken across behind runners. For some distance after the 1000 Metres, PALACE GENERAL raced awkwardly close to the heels of EGYPTIAN RA. KA LAM FORTUNE made the Home Turn awkwardly and shifted wider. After the 400 Metres, PLANET RULER was steadied when disappointed for running between MY CHOICE and PALACE GENERAL. Approaching the 200 Metres, SILVER SUN was steadied when unable to obtain clear running outside CONTINUED SUCCESS and behind KA LAM FORTUNE. At the 200 Metres, EGYPTIAN RA was momentarily crowded for room inside SLOW WALTZ which in the Home Straight had been hanging in badly and at this time shifted ground momentarily. After the 200 Metres, RIVER JORDAN hung in and shifted ground. Near the 100 Metres, EGYPTIAN RA was steadied when crowded for room inside SLOW WALTZ which continued to hang in. For the major part of the race, SUPREME HERO travelled wide and without cover. E Saint-Martin (EGYPTIAN RA) was reprimanded for making an inappropriate gesture towards another rider after passing the winning post. PLANET RULER was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of PLANET RULER after the race did not show any significant findings. SLOW WALTZ and MY CHOICE were sent for sampling.
