Racing Incident Report

TALE OF FRIENDSHIP began awkwardly and bumped with MAGIC KING. HOT VINTAGE began awkwardly, then trailed the field throughout and finished tailed off. The performance of HOT VINTAGE was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, HOT VINTAGE will have to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Near the 1000 Metres, ENERGETIC BOY was steadied away from the heels of MEGA BULLET which at this time was awkwardly placed inside the heels of MAGIC KING which shifted in when barely clear. After the 1000 Metres, SHANGDONG GENERAL got its head up and shifted out when being steadied away from the heels of BULLISH WIN which at this time was being steadied to obtain a position behind SUPER GENKI. Approaching the turn at the 800 Metres, TELECOM OWNER, which was racing ungenerously, became unbalanced when being shifted out away from the heels of SHANGDONG GENERAL. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, BULLISH WIN proved difficult to settle and was steadied away from the heels of SUPER GENKI. Apprentice K T Yeung (ENERGETIC BOY) reported his whip broke at the 300 Metres. In the Straight, MEGA BULLET hung out, because of this at the 150 Metres S Dye changed the whip into his left hand. MEGA BULLET then commenced to hang in. HOT VINTAGE was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of HOT VINTAGE after the race did not show any significant findings. LUCKY HERO and SUPER GENKI were sent for sampling.
