Racing Incident Report
FAMOUS DANCER began awkwardly and lost ground. TOM'S SIX bounded in the air at the start and lost ground. In the early stages, FLYING TAMARI proved difficult to settle. At the 1100 Metres, GOODY, which had been proving difficult to settle, got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of HAIL THE STORM. For a short distance after the 400 Metres, WEALTHY had difficulty obtaining clear running. After the 200 Metres, TOM'S SIX, which was shifting out, raced tight inside MAVERICK STAR, then over the concluding stages again raced tight inside MAVERICK STAR which at this time shifted in. Approaching the winning post, HAIL THE STORM shifted in and raced tight outside WEALTHY. Because of this, G Mossé did not ride HAIL THE STORM out to the line as he normally would. Throughout the race, PLASTIC POLYMER travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. PLASTIC POLYMER was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of PLASTIC POLYMER after the race did not show any significant findings. FLYING TAMARI, GOLD STRIKER and MAVERICK STAR were sent for sampling.
