Racing Incident Report
After arriving at the Start, it was noted BROWN BEAUTY had lost its left front plate. BROWN BEAUTY was re-plated and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. After being boxed, ONE EYE JACK became fractious, reared and dislodged A Delpech, its rider. After riding in this race, A Delpech was examined by the Club's doctor who said in his opinion A Delpech was at this time suitable to fulfil his remaining riding engagements. GREEN IN BLUE was slow to begin. SEA TREASURE began awkwardly, causing O Doleuze, its rider, to become unbalanced. As a consequence, SEA TREASURE lost ground. NAMJONG MONEY began awkwardly and then was taken across behind runners. On straightening, BROWN BEAUTY was steadied and shifted to the inside of HAPPY CONTENDER in an endeavour to find clear running. BROWN BEAUTY was then not able to obtain clear running, near the 200 Metres was steadied and shifted out when disappointed for running between HAPPY CONTENDER which shifted in slightly and ELEPHANT DANCE which was carried out by ONE EYE JACK which when giving ground shifted. No action was taken. In the early part of the Straight, HAPPY CONTENDER proved difficult to shift to the outside of ELEPHANT DANCE into clear running. For the majority of the race, GRABBIT travelled wide and without cover. EVER KING was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of EVER KING after the race did not show any significant findings. HAPPY CONTENDER and POSA were sent for sampling.
