Racing Incident Report
THE KING was withdrawn on 31.10.06 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore fetlock). Before being allowed to race again, THE KING will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. While in the holding stalls, CIRCULAR MACHINE was examined by the Veterinary Officers. They said the horse in their opinion was suitable to race. MOVE IT was slow to begin. At the 1300 Metres, MOVE IT was crowded for room inside VISIONNAIRE which shifted in when being steadied away from the heels of MR COOL which itself steadied the tempo. In the middle stages, ROYAL FALCON raced wide and without cover. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, AWESOME DRAGON was steadied when crowded for room inside ROYAL FALCON which got its head on the side and hung in. No action was taken. After this incident, ROYAL FALCON continued to hang in making the Home Turn. Over the concluding stages, MOVE IT hung in. WHIPLASH and CIRCULAR MACHINE were sent for sampling.
