Racing Incident Report

STRONG SUN and DELIGHTFUL WIN were slow to begin. Shortly after the start, DR MORE was crowded for room between REGAL THRILLS and LUCKY MONEY, both of which shifted ground. At the 1500 Metres, MOVE IT and REGAL THRILLS bumped. After the 1200 Metres, SAMBUOYANT was left racing wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. At the 350 Metres, MOVE IT was steadied and shifted to the outside of STRONG SUN to obtain clear running. For some distance after this, MOVE IT had difficulty improving into a tight run between STRONG SUN and GOOD VIEW SUCCESS. After the 300 Metres, SAMBUOYANT when giving ground became unbalanced and dipped. At the 300 Metres, BOUNTIFUL was steadied when unable to improve between MOVE IT and GOOD VIEW SUCCESS, then for a considerable distance after the 200 Metres was again steadied when unable to obtain clear running between STRONG SUN and GOOD VIEW SUCCESS which at this time drifted in. In the run to the line, VITALITY CHAMP was steadied to avoid the heels of FREEBIRD which shifted out. For the major part of the race, CALIFORNIA LUCK hung out. VITALITY CHAMP, CHATER SILK and LUCKY MONEY were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported VITALITY CHAMP had lost its left front plate.
