Racing Incident Report

NOBLE HEART and TIME SUPREME were slow to begin. CLASSIC DELIGHT began awkwardly. From a wide barrier, GOLD FIELD was immediately steadied and shifted across behind runners. In the early stages, when racing without cover, DIAMOND ERA proved difficult to settle and pulled its way forward to race outside the leaders. On several occasions near the 1400 Metres, AMSTERDAM and KONRAD THE GREAT bumped. In the middle stages and in the Straight, CALIFORNIA LUCK hung out. Near the 600 Metres, MILITARY OPTION was steadied away from the heels of NOBLE HEART. In the early part of the Straight, CHINSOLA was reluctant to shift out to obtain clear running and after the 300 Metres was steadied when close to the heels of OPTIC KING. For some distance after the 400 Metres, MILITARY OPTION was unable to improve between CHEERFUL HEART and CALIFORNIA LUCK. SHANGHAI KING was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SHANGHAI KING after the race did not show any significant findings. KOWLOON FIT and NOBLE HEART were sent for sampling.
