Racing Incident Report
FLORAL ARTS was withdrawn on 14.1.06 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter WITHALLMYHEART (Apprentice H W Lai). Before being allowed to race again, FLORAL ARTS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. PALIO KING began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of WINE WIN. As a consequence, PALIO KING lost ground. AMERICAN VICTORY was slow to begin. DARTER, which was fractious as the gates opened, was slow to begin. AFRICAN FOREST began awkwardly. On jumping, JADE DRAGONFLY stumbled. At the 800 Metres, WINE WIN and PLEZAYRE bumped. Over the final 400 Metres, TOP STITCH hung out. For the major part of the race, AMERICAN VICTORY hung out. WINE WIN, TOP STITCH and LUMINOUS were sent for sampling.
