Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, OUR JET bounded in the air and lost ground. FIRM OFFER was slow to begin. On jumping, JOLLY GAINS was bumped by FLASHING STAR which shifted in. At the 400 Metres, OUR JET was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of FLASHING STAR. Over the final 200 Metres, JOLLY GAINS hung out. Over the concluding stages, ALINSKY hung out away from ABLE CHOICE and near the 100 Metres shifted ground, causing FIREBOLT to be carried out which in turn resulted in slight crowding to GENERAL KINGY which when giving ground was steadied. R Fradd (CHATEAU KING PRAWN) said from a draw towards the inside he was unable to clear runners on his outside to obtain a position close to the outside rail which in his opinion would have been a big advantage. He said this in his opinion was the reason for the performance of CHATEAU KING PRAWN. FLASHING STAR and CHATEAU KING PRAWN were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of FLASHING STAR and CHATEAU KING PRAWN after the race did not show any significant findings. ALINSKY, ABLE CHOICE and KINGIFLY were sent for sampling.
